Get the frame locked
Frame Recast creates a standalone text-to-image prompt. Character Lock uses two reference images for editing. Choose the workflow that matches your job.
Frame Recast
Use one inspiration image to create a fictional person in a similar scene, generated from text alone. Exact pose and framing are not locked.
- 1Upload an inspiration image to describe its composition, lighting and visible styling.
- 2Direct the new face, wardrobe and location changes.
- 3Build and copy the finished prompt.
- 4Generate from the prompt alone. Do not attach the original image or use image editing.
Character Lock
Use this when you already have an AI character and want to place them into a video’s first-frame composition.
- 1Take a screenshot of the first frame of the video you want to recreate.
- 2Upload that screenshot as the Video frame—it controls the whole composition.
- 3Upload your AI character separately—it controls identity only.
- 4Build the prompt, then use both images and the prompt in GPT Image as an edit.
Quick answers
Does Frame Lock generate images?
Yes. Every Frame Lock Pro subscriber can render the finished prompt with GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst inside Frame Lock, on top of the prompt-building workflows.
What counts toward my allowance?
Only successful runs count. Prompt builds use your 100 builds per billing month; images use a separate allowance of 30 per calendar month and 5 per hour.
Why did my final image drift?
Make sure you run the result as an image edit and upload the same references in the exact order shown in Frame Lock.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Open Account and billing, then use the Stripe billing portal. Access remains until the end of the paid period.
